Let me try this to see if I can set up a separate page for you to come to just to find out about meal times and menus for my Lenten penance. :)
Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions, or special requests, and I will try to accomodate the menu for your meal(s). Again, if you wouldn’t mind giving me at least a day’s notice, then I can plan on making enough food for everyone who wants to stop by. Thank you!! :)
As an FYI, my HTML both sucks and it has been quite a while, so if you have tips for me — have at it! Thanks! If the name of the dish is underlined, I have attemped to create a link to a recipe for you, in case you are interested. Enjoy! If the name of the day is underlined, I have tried to link to pictures for that day.
In the queue: there has been a request for a Steak and Lobster dinner. I’m not sure both will be served same day, but I am at least looking into making arrangements for a Lobster dinner, date as yet TBD.
Update: This has been condensed, post-Lent, so you don’t have to scroll so much past the parts where I didn’t specifically say what and if I ate.

Are you going to allow yourself to get take-out on Sundays?
I shan’t be over on 2/6, as I will be fasting, but why don’t you put me down for 2/7? If I have to reschedule you won’t kill me, right?

I was not planning on it….
I thought fasting was eating only 1 small meal/day? Or are you just going with nothing all day?
Kill you? I wouldn’t kill you. 1. I think God would have a problem with that. 2. I would have a problem with that. 3. Haven’t you seen “Forensic Files”? They would *so* catch me! 4. I think the point of Lent is to repent and draw closer to God, not to sin as much as possible before the celebration of the Resurrection….

Fasting in the Latin Rite does permit a small meal, but it’s ideally supposed to be taken around midday.
“Kill” was metaphorical, but I think you knew that…

Ooo, now you need a lunch or dinner on the 9th that can use your four leftover egg yolks… :-)

Yeah, assuming that I can actually separate an egg. But, then, would it be cheating if I used that fake egg white product?
