I thought this was absolutely perfect!  On so many levels!  :)  The image is a photo I took of the card.  But go ahead, give me your guess in the comment box as to who this is and why I think it fits so very well!

    I’m just reading your blog for the first time so I do not know you or your history. I don’t mean to be flip or disrespectful, but does it have anything to do with St. Josemaria? Today is his memorial, you are apparently in Spain, the Saint wore glasses not unlike those on the dog, the name Escriva means “write”, and the dog is sitting on books.

    Again, I mean no disrespect, but that’s my best guess

    That is a very interesting suggestion, and one I would not have thought of! :)

    To clarify, I am from Michigan, not Spain. I just have the clock up there in honor of the next World Youth Day, which will be held in Madrid! I’m hoping to be able to go. :)
